Rules & Bylaws

Each NCAA division has a manual containing its own set of rules (bylaws). These manuals are published (updated) prior to each school year.

The Legislative Services Database (LSDBi) is a useful tool for looking up bylaws. It has the advantage of being updated continuously throughout the year.

In addition to divisional regulations, there are playing rules committees that set rules for specific sports.
